We are Farmers Guimaraes Insurance Agency located in Taunton MA

As an insurance producer working for a Farmers agency owner, you can assist prospective and existing customers in your community with products and services they need.

We are looking to expand our team in our very busy local Farmers Insurance Agency. The ideal candidate will oversee the organization and efficiency of daily office operations. From scheduling client meetings, lead generation, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner. You will learn the rules and regulations of the insurance industry and be provided with the tools and training to be successful in a long-term career.

Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Provide support to clients with claims, policy changes, and general questions as needed.
  • Respond to client inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests.
  • Assist customers with vehicle purchases.
  • Work with realtors and lenders to support client home closings and mortgage updates.
  • Contact existing customers to perform policy reviews.
  • Data Entry with customer management software system (CRM).
  • Monitoring and updating agency reports.
  • Track and finalize all necessary policy documentation.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Prospect & Develop Sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold calling, & lead databases.
  • Establish contact with prospects and schedule appointments.
  • Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
  • Stay current on industry market trends, Maintain knowledge of new products, & best practices
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.


Requirements
  • A Property & Casualty license is required in applicable state
  • A Property & Casualty license is required in applicable state within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to pass a background check.
